About Lucidism

First – What is Lucidism?

It is not a religion because there is nothing to worship in Lucidism. Not anything else than your freedom. It is a path for you who can’t see yourself in the dogmatic religions or the old complicated spiritual practices. But you still feel you miss a connection to something.

Lucidism exists to awaken what’s already inside you: sovereignty, clarity, and the courage to live on your own terms.

We do not offer you salvation because you don’t need to be saved. It’s about reclaiming the power you never truly lost.

We will not dictate how you should live, who and how you love, what you do, and in which way.

Lucidism is the totally opposite of what you find in most religions, spiritual practices, and self-help programs. You find your OWN way inside yourself, and do not let anyone tell you how you live.

The mission of Lucidism is to give you tools and inspiration to become the person you have always meant to be. What that is, no one other than yourself can decide.

Lucidism is also quite the opposite of a cult. A cult tries to control and brainwash you. We help wash your brain of all the limitations, moral rules, judgment, and guilt. Leaving it clean and ready for you to recreate the person you were born to be.

We’re building a new life philosophy and a global movement for people who are done waiting for permission. People who want to feel free from judgment and guilt. The ones who instead want to live on their own terms and make their own rules.

Our Presence

Lucidism is rooted in a lived truth and inspiration to rise from the ground up.

We currently have representation in both the United States and Europe. Our UK office is based in London, and our US office operates out of Wyoming. A new presence in Ireland and other places is also in the works, strengthening our reach and building a home for Lucidism across borders.

We’re creating a global home for those who have never quite fit into traditional religions, self-help hype, or shallow spirituality. A home that speaks to the rebel, the mystic, the sensual, the curious, and the sovereign soul.

Our Mission

The mission of Lucidism is simple but deep: it is to liberate humans from the invisible chains of shame, guilt, obedience, and spiritual confusion.

We offer you a path to reclaim the “sacred” in you without any submission to anything or anyone. It is a path to liberate our inner power without any domination. A path that honors both desire and dignity, both freedom and belonging.

Through articles, books, podcasts, tools, mental rituals, and an ever-growing body of living philosophy, Lucidism helps you strip away the false layers and return to who you really are.

We don’t tell you what to believe. We help you clear the noise and remember what you already know deep inside yourself.

Who got this “crazy” idea? 

Lucidism was founded by Leonhart Lowell Laponnel—a Danish-born spiritual rebel, teacher, and visionary.

Leonhart emerged lucid after walking through the fire of guilt, shame, and personal suppression.

He didn’t create Lucidism to be followed, but he wanted to offer a compass for those who are ready to find their own direction. It is far from a path for everyone because many prefer to be led instead of leading their own lives. That is ok. Then, Lucidism is not for them.
